E.L JAMES-FIFTY SHADES TRILOGY
The Fifty Shades trilogy is captivating and amusing. These books are filled with erotic and “filthy” scenes of kinky sex. These are tales that will obsess you, possess your inner thoughts, and they are irresistibly addictive.
Fifty Shades tells us about a young couple, Christian Grey and Anastacia Steele, engrossed in an affair, filled with love, exploring hidden desires and deep secrets…A MUST READ!!!
In these books, my favourite character was Christian Grey’s most trusted employee, his driver and chief security guard Taylor. An older and wise man, always at his beck and call he also played the part of always reassuring Anastacia that his boss was a good man in his own way.
The characters in the trilogy of Christian are captivating and you live every moment of Anastacia’s agony and ecstacy. I felt how the characters grow and develop, although Christian was sometimes “control freak” but I absolutely loved every bit of it.
The erotic content of these books make it steamy. The stories were about consensual sexual expression and exploration. Every book with its own version of sexual filth, hidden desires with love at the end. I couldn’t put down each book I was reading.
My favourite part was when Christian found out on the night of his birthday after his accident that she had already given an answer to his marriage proposal, engraved in a key-chain in his coat pocket not realizing he had it all along with him even before he travelled.
The sex scenes were HOT! STEAMY! EROTIC! AROUSING! REFRESHING! Everything was well-written in this raunchy love story.
I was deeply attached, no laughter or crying, in fact I was aroused by reading some kinky and steamy scenes in the secret room.
The chemistry in these stories burns the pages and their relationship unfolds beautifully. I was glued for two days doing absolutely nothing with my free time but reading.
Let me be honest, it’s over the top. A lot of kinky stuff but it really is an amazing love story; it will tease and also excite you.
Trilogy Series is an entertaining, modern, refreshing also with a little bit of drama to it.
I give it my full recommendation for ADULT readers.
PENNY WYLDER-HER BEST FRIEND’S DAD
This author writes short novels of wild romance, each chapter is filled with passionate and wild scenes that will arouse your feelings and excitement.
It is a short tale about a young girl Lia who had hidden desires for her childhood friend’s dad Beck which led them into having a secret affair, which resulted to a pregnancy.
Beck is the wealthy hero who is hot, charming, and the saviour to all of Lia’s problems. The stereotypical scene: the wiser and older guy who has a solution to every situation in his life.
These two characters Beck and Lia knew who and what they wanted-each other. Both full of life with strong characters.
I fell in love with the story from the beginning. Despite the huge age difference, I could feel the chemistry between them. Beck’s daughter who happens to be Lia’s bestfriend , was thrown into the story.
Lia’s father, one of Beck’s bestfriend’s and Lia’s step-mum having her own feelings for Beck, kept me wondering and guessing throughout.
My favourite scenario was when Lia’s step-mum caught them together during the office party, making an attempt to expose them to the crowd but he rescued the situation by confessing and proposing to Lia.
Beck seemed way younger than maybe he should have been, but this book was filled with lots of sweet moments and hot sex scenes. I was in awe.
This book kept me on the edge. Full of dirty sex and an old silver fox, just the way I like it.
My honest two-cents: great storyline, drama, hot and sexy too. It’s a quick fun read and i’ll definitely be reading again. You just have to read to know what happens with Lia and Beck. Another adult or young readers edition.
JACKIE COLLINS-LOVERS AND PLAYERS
Jackie is one of the best- selling authors of all times! She writes novels that always tells us about families, fame, greed, money and love.
Lovers and players is a book that is about the lives of characters that are involved with ties that binds them in fame, love, money, family relationships, dangerous sex and murder.
Red Diamond was my favourite character. He was the father of all three main characters of this novel. He was the embodiment of power mixed money. I liked him because even at his age, almost eighty, he made sure everything went his own way. He was selfish, controlling but had a humorous side.
Characters in this book were sometimes predictable, but it was fun to read and also refreshing to see a beautiful character with brains and some values.
This book was fast paced and kept me hooked, with intriguing characters that made me feel sorry for them, hate them, and a wide range of emotions. The twist and turns kept me reading.
I was deeply engrossed in reading by the time I got to the scene where one of the characters Amy- who was engaged to Red Diamond’s elder son Max. On the night of her bachelorette party, she was drunk and ended up going home with an unknown man who unfortunately was her fiancé’s younger brother.
Every scene was detailed with its mysterious side to it.
The story had scandal, family drama, sex, murder and lust. The characters were easily to get hooked on. Each had its own drama and problems that pulled me in right away as a reader.
‘Lovers and Players’ is not just about sex, but also some things to remember about life.
Surviving a tough childhood is possible, and leaning on someone or asking for help is okay. Pursuing your dreams is a good thing. It helps you understand why some people turn out the way they do and it also creates a reassuring structure where the glamorous and wealthy have much more stressful lives than one could imagine.
If you are a book lover interested in drama, this one’s definitely for you!
